Fresh off their historic season in Europe, Paris Saint-Germain packed their bags for the U.S. to compete in the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup in June.
Setting up camp in Los Angeles for their opening two matches, the club opened a PSG House in the west coast city to accommodate fans and special guests.
Amongst the most privileged guests were PSG Academy Los Angeles players, who experienced an unforgettable training session at UC Irvine led by PSG Academy Technical Coordinator from Paris, Dylan Lienart. First team stars Desiré Doué, Bradley Barcola, Arnau Tenas, and Gabriel Moscardo joined the session, supervising drills and sharing passes with the young players.
“I asked Desiré Doué what advice he could give to a young player like me, and he said to just play with my soccer ball each day and I will become so much better,” shared Jamie, one of the participating academy players.
The first team players offered encouragement and technical guidance, creating authentic learning moments that demonstrated the same methodology driving PSG’s success at the highest level.
The PSG connection reached beyond Los Angeles. When the club traveled to Seattle for their third group stage match, players from PSG Academy British Columbia made the journey to support them, joining over 350 teammates and family members to witness their club compete on American soil. From soccer clinics and photo ops to an unforgettable PSG party, they turned the experience into a truly memorable adventure.
