The Paris Saint-Germain Academy USA Campus in Fort Lauderdale hosted the most exciting North America Cup January 14th – January 16th.

The tournament gives PSG Academy players from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Pennsylvania and Vancouver the chance to compete in an elite tournament at the state-of-the-art USA Campus in South Florida. Over 1,000 players and families attended the event from across North America to create an unforgettable atmosphere that is unprecedented in academy soccer in the United States.

The second edition of the cup was packed with competitiveness and fun that included activities away from official games, including parent-driven penalty shootouts, teqball games, a bounce house, and barbecues for visiting families.

The memories for many players have just begun. Based on their performance and ranking during the Cup, a grand total of 5 teams from North America have been selected to represent PSG Academy USA and Canada at the PSG Academy World Cup in Paris. They will be traveling to Paris this June to play against other academy players from across the globe. They will live a once in a lifetime experience and will play their finals in the PSG stadium, the prestigious Parc de Princes.

PSG Academy worldwide Technical Director Benjamin Houri was in attendance as he was for the first edition of the event in 2022. He took the opportunity to teach the coaches from academies across the United States how to better implement the PSG methodology and philosophy. Houri was thoroughly impressed with the spectacle and is excited to see what comes next.
