Grand Genève FC, also referred to as Thonon Evian Grand Genève FC and
previously Evian Thonon Gaillard FC, is the result of the fusion of the clubs
of Thonon, Evian and several historical clubs of the Grand Geneva region.
Originally founded in 2007, the club started fresh in 2017,
asserting its ambition with the arrival of Strive Football Group, initiating the clubs fusion,
to fulfill its vision of a large football project in the region: Grand Genève Football.
Strive Football Group’s take over enabled the project to embody a new, bigger span, with
the ambition of bringing back its elite teams at the best national level, previously attained
in 2016.
The global project of Grand Genève Football gathers clubs from the greater
Geneva area, encompassing the largest number of women’s and men’s teams
in the region, playing at the highest national level.
Grand Geneve FC is one of the largest clubs in the Grand Geneva area, with a football training center section and an Elite section comprised of 10 Elite teams.
