The football-frenzied nations of Venezuela and Switzerland hosted PSG Academy Summer Camps for three incredible weeks, in three and two cities respectively. The expansion aimed to transfer the fundamentals of the authentic Paris Saint-Germain football methodology to local talent in these new territories. This was achieved through the presence and investment of world-class PSG Academy certified coaches and by hosting the camps at the best facilities the cities had to offer
In Switzerland, the three weeks of camps saw participation from over a hundred players and were guided by a team of expert PSG-certified coaches each week. Meanwhile, in Venezuela, the enthusiasm was phenomenal, with hundreds of players participating throughout the entire three weeks, representing a rich variety of backgrounds and regions of the country.
The camps attracted players of different nationalities, all eager to learn. Swiss camps counted over a dozen different nationalities, while Venezuela had players from all around the country travel to learn the Paris Saint-Germain fundamentals. Through meticulously designed in-game scenarios and drills, participants were immersed in the technical and tactical environment of a Paris Saint-Germain session in Paris.
The environments at these camps were truly special, as players practiced with individuals from various different cultures. They were not only introduced to a unique style of play but also embraced the way football brings communities together.
Strive Football Group is thrilled with the outcome and is committed to exploring more cultures and adding new members to its growing family.
